User opinion for HP iPAQ HX4705 Pocket PC: "Overall, I'm very pleased with it, but there is a problem. HP just published an update on their web site, that limits the volume applied to the internal speaker. Apparently, the internal amplifier is too powerful for the speaker, and without artificially limiting the audio level, the speaker will be damaged. Mine failed this way, and now it will be two weeks being repaired by HP, assuming that they don't decide to charge me a minimum fee of $85, and there's also the shipping. So, my nice Ipaq will be out of service for a while. And I was thinking about having that ram upgrade installed, which would have left me with no warantee.. "

User opinion for HP iPAQ 1945 Pocket PC: "When I started using the HP1945 it was the ultimate timesaver for me, especially the Outlook Contacts. I loved the design and the way it worked. After one week of use, the screen cracked just from being in my shirt pocket, and the unit was useless. I was lucky and able to return it as defective to the store I bought it from, and get a refund. I will be searching for a similar, but sturdier PDA."

User opinion for Dell Axim X5 300 MHz Pocket PC: "This is the first PDA that I've bought, but when this gets old I'll definately buy another Dell if they continue to make them. The pre-installed Pocket PC 2002 is perfect for writing Word documents and Excel spreadsheets, or just viewing them. There are 3 different methods to input letters including a handwriting transcriber that you can personalize to fit the way you write. It took me about 2 minutes to set up my computer so that I could share files between the two of them. You can view all types of pictures on your Axim with the awesome colored screen. The operating system's name says it all, this is definately a Pocket PC because of all of the things you can do with it."
